Abstract art watercolor techniques. The dab moisten your paper towel bunch it up and dab it into some wet watercolor then dab it onto your paper. I then placed a geometric piece of wax paper over that colorful wet shape. Paper texture paint your watercolor then while it is still wet use a wadded up paper towel to gently blot some areas away to create texture. Each layer of paint must be left to dry before applying the next. You can start with by drawing your subject in waterproof pen or another medium that wont be ruined as you layer in watercolor then blend colorful washes around it for an abstract background.
